LA Fire Support

Working with chefs and farmers to create nourishing meals for communities directly affected by the LA Fires and first responders across the city.

IT’S NO SURPRISE THAT WHEN WE SAW PEOPLE IN NEED, OUR CHEFS & PARTNERS STEPPED UP.

Talented and generous chefs like Chef Michelle Lainez, Chef Dara Yu, Ceor Bread and more started cooking without skipping a beat— all whom have been donating their time. Farmers like Garcia Organics, Tamai Family Farm, Weiser Family Farms, Tehachapi Grain Project and Worldwide Produce have been donating produce, grains and tortillas. So many have given so much to us and we are so grateful.

1000+ meals a day has been sent to LAFD in Malibu, Alta Dena and Hanson Dam. We’ve been feeding displaced evacuees at YMCA Koreatown, Pasadena Boys & Girls Club, DTLA Evacuation Center and more. To provide delicious and nourishing meals to first responders keeping our city safe and communities who need it most, has been an honor.

HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT SUSTAINABLE!

Gather for Good is working directly with farmers and chefs who are making 1000+ meals a day for directly affected communities and the National Guard.

By donating, we will use these funds to directly pay chefs wages for their hard work and farmers/purveyors for ingredients. We know this is a marathon and believe everyone can find a way forward so long as we ensure food and work sustainability for all.
