Chef Emily Efraimov | Owner, Little Dacha
Displaced of housing at the start of the pandemic, Chef Emily Efraimov began her pop up, Little Dacha, which she operated and delivered out of the same car that held her belongings; living in eight different places, within 16 months. With her pop up, she traces her heritage and focuses on rustic, Russian and Circassian inspired food.
Prior moving to Los Angeles, she was in the advertising department at Bon Appétit Magazine. Here, she worked hospitality marketing during the day, then at night, cooked at notable kitchens like Animal and Hatchet Hall.
n 2021, she was featured in several articles by Bill Addison, James Beard Award-winning restaurant critic of Los Angeles Times Food.
